Wisdom Tooth Removal on ROM 3rd Monthliversary...

Wisdom Tooth Removal on ROM 3rd Monthliversary... How nice,,,, was pretty nervous that the blood pressure shot up..... Still rmb that I still have 4 decayed wisdom tooth for removal? Finally got the courage to go for it.... and I can tell you.... I love the friendly nurses there but I hate my Aesthetician!!!! Lucky my husband-according-to-law accompanied me...

I was supposed to put on the infusion set so they can make me sleep by infusing some medications through to let me sleep.... don't know is my hand too fat or what... they say my hands very fair and is very fortune look like (According to Chinese saying it's a "good life hand")... That Aethetician cannot find my veins!!!! Cannot find nvm... but he still tried his luck on my wrist area.... I can tell you,,, it's very very pain!!!!!! Pain till I actually cried and he kept apologising to me :( but still not successful....

So they got no choice they move me to the surgery theatre then lay me down on the operating table... I tell you that was the worst experience ever!!!! In the operation theatre, there's 5 surgeons (As far as I can see)... That was super nervous can? Then they gave me some laughing gas to make me relax before they insert the setting.... it was pain for a moment.... but soon I guess I fell asleep.... when I woke up... The nurse told me it was all over... after last reading of blood pressure they will send me back to the ward.... at first I felt drowsy,,, but when I saw my boy coming in to accompany me... the drowsiness slowly worn off,,,, Power of Love!!!!

I definitely will not want to go through the similar thing again... EVER!!!!

Collecting my Retainers

I was so feel like banging my head on the 9 December as I forgot about my appointment for collecting my retainers.... I mean How can I forget about it?????? Wa so afraid that my teeth will go crooked again without my retainers on for too long after removing my braces.... haha.... so guess I think too much...

So, I just collected my retainers and I kinda regret choosing the metal one for the following reasons:

1. Not very presentable
2. Making people thought I wearing dentures while trying to wear it in public toilet...
3. I have difficulty talking with my retainers on. (As a tutor... How can I don't talk? So no retainers while having tuition....)
4. Sometime feel like vomiting due to plastic parts pressing on my upper jaw and lower jaw.

But oh well... I guess I am able to get use to it.... YEAH!!!

Braces Removal!

Long time no update as there's isn't much to update on.... it was just some tightening, fixing on and off the wires... as time goes by wire getting thicker and thicker.... After 1 year plus of suffering from braces tightening, pain and sores.... I finally took out my braces today!!!!! It was quite a surprise as I always ask my dentist when can I remove my braces and all he said was I will tell you next month... Then when I didn't ask him again.... He say next month can take out already!!!

That's my last selfie with my braces, first selfie without braces and a wefie with my kiasu hubby who wants to be the first to see me without my braces! :)

You know it's kinda weird without my braces... it feels like suddenly my mouth got lots of things missing and I know it's kinda weird if I say this.... I'm kinda miss my braces... LOL

I love my new set of teeth! That's my photo before and after my braces.... It look soooooo.... NEAT NOW!!!! Sry kinda excited.... would like to thank my parents for allowing me to put on braces (after long years of begging and quarrelling) and paying for the fees... if not just by myself I don't think I have the courage to spend so much money on them.. :)

He asked me regarding my retainer choice... as my orthodontic dentist... he suggested metal retainer which is more durable and expensive which I already paid for compare to the plastic ones... Normally I will choose plastic, since it's more presentable... but I decided to take the metal which is the durable one as he told me the retainer I should wear it AS LONG AS I CAN! so since its more durable for the metal one... so I chose it so I can wear it for 2 years I guess? Hopefully :)

Happy 1st Anniversary with my braces!!!

Yesterday was my 1st Anniversary of me with my braces.... and... Hopefully I wont be "celebrating" my second year anniversary with my braces next year... haha... ^^ The teeth are nicely straightened and the gap are closing pretty fast ^^ Can't wait for it to over!!!!!

Power Chain~ Powerful~~~~ and rubber band previously

Having a friend who did braces half years more than me mentally prepares me for anything new ahead of me... I thought the rubberbands was already bad enough, even though I only wore it in night time... Unfortunately, this power chain is more powerful than what I thought... I mean what could be worst?

The teeth was very very stiff.... The first day when I still have a few of the tuitions to go, my face was totally black, my students commented that I look fierce when I don talk or smile.... LOL.... But am lucky that my dentist has a habit of gradually increase the strength of my braces.... if not I could believe what's ahead of me! Maybe several days of "black face"? LOL

Its been quite sometime since I last updated!

Alright, after few months to half a year of suffering, I finally have a set of much presentable teeth! Meaning straighter set of teeth ;) Yeah..... *Applause*

The right side of the tooth gaps are closing up pretty fast and is even faster than I imagined! As of the left side, *sigh* think still need quite a little bit of time.... ;)

So far I've changed quite a number of colour combination of my rubber bands, baby blue with baby pink, dark pink, blue, park purple with dark pink, baby pink with dark purple.... Gonna try more funky colours in the coming braces adjustments!!! haha... Feel so fun to have so many cute colours on my teeth :) Realised all most of them are pink? maybe for the next treatment I should forget abt pink :P Thanks people for reading... and I cant wait to end this blog soon with my before and after pic right after my braces :) Stay tuned!!!!

Second tightening~~~

Can already see some improvement on my obvious crooked 2 front tooth and the slight decayed tooth that is hidden before my treatment has been exposed and that  could finally do my fillings on my next dental visit... Whew... had been worried for that for such a long long long time....

Yesterday tightening... as usual... teeth stiff and feel sooo tight... yesterday can just feel the pull and pain... sometime left side, sometime right side... sigh~~~ so hoping that this will end soon~~
